Archivette provides family history research and photo restoration services for those seeking to discover, understand and preserve their family's past.

I deal primarily with families in the United States and am particularly interested in understanding how the people I research fit into history.   Beyond names and dates, it is fascinating to discover bits of lost local history and rediscover how our ancestors lived.

I became interested in my own family's history as a child and began researching for others in the 1990s.

I have a degree in visual arts and twenty-five years experience in genealogical research and archival work, including film restoration in Hollywood and research work for published authors.  In addition, I spent six years in story development assisting writers with their work.

With that background, it should come as no surprise that I love putting together the stories of families, digitally restoring old family photos and combining those elements to display each family's personal history in a variety of mediums.
